Amazon Web Services (AWS), an Amazon.com, Inc. company (NASDAQ: AMZN) and Bouygues, a diversified services group in construction, energies and services, and media and telecoms, have signed a strategic partnership to accelerate digital transformation across Bouygues group’s operations. AWS and Bouygues will build on their existing collaboration to drive cloud adoption across the Equans energies and services network, Bouygues Telecom, and media company TF1 by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize operations, enable faster growth and launch market-disrupting services such as accelerated digital production and enhanced streaming TV experiences. In addition, Bouygues will work with AWS to develop innovative, cloud-based solutions for its construction operations, deploying AI to manage risk, increase agility and efficiency, and enhance competitiveness.

Under the strategic partnership, AWS and Equans will launch LegalAize, a generative AI application deploying Anthropic’s Claude through Amazon Bedrock. LegalAize will help to scale contract legal analysis and risk identification for Equans’ project management teams.

Bouygues media subsidiary TF1 is also working with AWS on cloud and generative AI solutions to optimize digital production workflows and enhance the TF1+ streaming platform viewer experience. TF1 will also accelerate the migration of its video distribution workloads to AWS.

The digital transformation of the construction industry will be a major focus of the strategic partnership, with AWS and Bouygues working together to identify the points in the construction lifecycle where digital transformation through the cloud can deliver greatest value.

“Digital innovation is crucial for Bouygues to maintain our leadership and meet the evolving needs of our customers in Construction, Energies and Services, Media and Telecoms,” said Marie-Luce Godinot, Senior Vice-President, Innovation, Sustainable Development and Information Systems at Bouygues. “This partnership with AWS will enable us to strengthen competitiveness and build innovative solutions with a focus on reliability, agility and decarbonization.”

“We thank Bouygues for their trust and partnership, marking a significant milestone in our relationship and are honoured to continue to work with an iconic leader in many areas. We are combining the full power of AWS technologies, applied to business transformation with Amazon’s world-class consumer experience,” said Julien Groues, VP, AWS France & Southern Europe. “By aligning our complementary strengths, we are supporting sustainable growth and meaningful innovation across Bouygues’ businesses.”

The strategic partnership between Bouygues group and AWS builds on the growing collaboration with Bouygues group and Amazon over the last few years. Bouygues group will continue to explore wider opportunities with Amazon.
