Since January 2022, Pernille Lind Olsen has been a strong addition to the team of Henkel Adhesive Technologies, a global leading supplier of adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings. Pernille has taken over as Corporate Vice President and Global Head for the Metals business.

In its Metals business area Henkel supplies surface treatment, sealants and coating solutions for the entire value chain of the metal industry – for example for steel coils, metal packaging such as beverage cans and industrial metal pretreatment, e.g. steel parts for agricultural vehicles or building construction. Pernille Lind Olsen is responsible for the global sales as well as functions such as marketing, strategy, and innovation. “We are delighted to have Pernille on our team. Her many years of experience in global industrial businesses and her outstanding leadership skills are of great value to us,” says Dr. Christian Kirsten, Corporate Senior Vice President Automotive & Metals.

Prior to this, the Danish-born leader held various roles with the international companies Novozymes and Hempel. In her latest role as Group Vice President at Hempel, she was responsible for business and operations in the Europe and Africa regions. Prior to that, she was responsible for Hempel’s business and operations in South and East Asia. Along her career she also held a breadth of strategic roles within marketing, strategy, product and innovation portfolio management.

In her new position at Henkel Adhesive Technologies, Pernille Lind Olsen’s main focus is on future-oriented collaboration with customers, combined with a strong focus on sustainability. “I am really happy to be working with a highly qualified and customer focused team at Henkel, and it makes me super proud to experience the trust our customers have in our team and their know-how. We are driven to develop innovative solutions – products and services – for the future of our customers,” says Pernille Lind Olsen. “In order to achieve this, we are in a continuous and close dialogue with our customers, partners and suppliers to find solutions for increasing efficiency and reducing use of material, energy and water use. It is only possible to unlock the full potential of this through close collaboration with our customers, partners and suppliers. This way, we can continue sustainable growth together: both in terms of impact on our planet and in the form of long-term partnerships based on trust and expertise.”
