EUROPEAN BUSINESS: Stephane, would you like to give us an introduction of GROUPIMO S.A. ?
Stephane Plaissy: GROUPIMO operates in the French Departments of America (Martinique, Guadeloupe and French Guyana), professions of property manager and real estate agent on behalf of individuals and professionals.
In addition GROUPIMO is the only French company listed on Euronext Growth, whose
head office is located in the French Departments of America. So, we are the only European company in this case.
The strength of GROUPIMO is to cover all the needs of its owner customers by offering on the markets real estate (business, residential, leisure) additional value-added services such as real estate diagnostics, renovation jobs, insurance brokerage or even financing research.

EUROPEAN BUSINESS: What about the real estate project on Groupimo Business ?
Stephane Plaissy: We need to still be useful. Open Real Estate to everyone, offering housing at any stage of life. Find innovative mobility solution, with our exclusive partner Waat for instance. Facilitate access to housing and buildings, in making regions attractive for long term. We already make a lot, doing everyday more and more, and believe that tomorrow will be a better day with our 100 of collaborators on our implantations.

EUROPEAN BUSINESS: You know, Europe is facing several challenges (inflation, energy and war), can you share some insights about the business outlook in Europe? In which markets do you see the greatest potential for your business?
Stephane Plaissy: By now, our business is on our overseas implantations. In Martinique for instance, our main actual “growth engine” is to sale old hotels in co-ownership system for investor. We just finished two big deals of 10Million euros almost, and are about to launch new sales on 2023. This includes a special offer that brings a full “all inclusive” services for the seller and buyers with renovation, rentals, management, if wanted. Tickets for buyers are around 100.000€ for owning a true peace of paradise (renovated “old” hotel room
In the same time we are very concerned with RE subjects.
RE for Real Estate Services is really important. We promote several activities for this. As we have the chance to be on a very sunny part of Europe, we realized photovoltaic farms for our building under management. we also made hot water production with sun solutions. This made it possible to reduce consuption for some buildings of more than 300Mwh/year.

In the same time we’ve opened a partnership with “Green Tourism” for our clients and us to become greener and more ecological way of running buildings and tourism business.
It’s an every day task to make our world better with our behaviour. By switching off lights, clim, … in using electrical vehicles, with constant efforts on how running business in different way.
As Groupimo, since more than 5 years now, constantly made more than 15% profit/turnover, i want to keep this and make it in a greener way. That’s the way we have to make business, to take part of our world, and always adapt to stay in shape.
EUROPEAN BUSINESS: Stephane, could you talk about your personal experience and the things that attract you in the Real Estate industry?
Stephane Plaissy: Born In Paris, i’ve worked during 10 years in Foncia which recently became Emeria, one of the leader of european property management. I’ve learn a lot and use to manage all east of Paris region, including the Disney Area. Our partnership with building constructor leads to exceptionnal results.
I’m in Martinique since 1999, more than 20 years and created Groupimo. We introduce Groupimo on Euronext in 2007, 15 years ago, and contribute to achieve real estate clients dreams come true. In the same time, i kept strong ties with Paris where i still own, with my partners, a property management firm.
After french government change defiscalisation laws in 2007/2008, we suffered from world crisis and bad results. Since more than 10 years we are now still profitables, with no loans, and have a real good annual statments. Since 2 years now, we are proud to distribute dividends to our shareholder.
For the future, we believe that the exceptionnel location of Martinique and Guadeloupe in the Carribeans, and Guyane for south america, made an absolute opportunity for Europe to be part of the Americas. Actually absolutly all the French (and Europeans) laws are applicables here. We still have lot to do to build this future, and we take our part in Real Estate Services for everyone who want to join.
