The company’s official press conference at Europe’s largest auto show will update guests on plans for production and Flash Charging in the region. The star of the stage will be the the SEAL 6 DM-i TOURING, the latest model powered by groundbreaking Super Hybrid with DM technology and a vehicle that has real potential to shake up the family sedan and wagon markets, with combined range of up to 1505km. It will be shown in SEAL 6 DM-i TOURING form, marking BYD’s entry into the European combi market. The conference will take place from 12h00 to 12h20 on 8 September, at the Main Stage in Hall 2.
Following the press conference, and running until 18h00 on 8 September, BYD cordially invites media to meet at the ‘BYD Oasis’, a specially arranged area at Wappenhalle (a short walk from Messe Entrance West). There, guests will find BYD and DENZA models on display for content production, management available for conversations and interviews, and a relaxed environment with refreshments and places to work – perfect for catching up and recharging during a busy day at IAA Mobility.
After the media day, BYD’s focus shifts to a pair of stands at the public Open Space, operating from 9-14 September. BYD will have a stand at Odeonsplatz to display the new SEAL 6 DM-i TOURING alongside the following models: SEAL, SEAL U DM-i, DOLPHIN SURF, ATTO 2 and SEALION 7.
DENZA will also be present in Odeonplatz, marking its public debut in Germany by showing the D9 MPV, along with the flagship Z9GT.
BYD’s other exhibition space in Königsplatz is designed to showcase the cutting-edge innovations that make the brand a global leader in green technology. This will include an early chance for European car buyers to see megawatt (1000kW) Flash Charging in action – a technological breakthrough that can add around 400km of range in just five minutes.
In addition, BYD will offer test drives of its comprehensive range of pure-electric and Super Hybrid vehicles at Königsplatz, allowing the public to experience its advanced powertrains and customer-focused technologies on the road.
