Hyundai Motor Europe has announced its appointment of Wolfgang Reichold to the new position of Vice President of the European Regional Safety Office. Reichold reports to Michael Cole, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Europe, and Brian Latouf, HMC`s Global Chief Safety Officer.
The establishment of the new European Automotive Safety Office (EASO) underlines Hyundai’s commitment to a safety-driven culture, focusing on keeping customers, passengers, and other road users safe around the globe.
In his role, Reichold will be responsible for the safety performance of all vehicles in Europe from Hyundai and Genesis brands.
With three decades of comprehensive safety experience, Wolfgang will be a great addition to the newly created European Automotive Safety Office. His expertise in the field, coupled with his proven leadership abilities, will help Hyundai progress even further by channelling the company’s resources into keeping our customers safe on European roads.
