Rising sales in 2024: Hyundai Motor Europe experiences growth during the first half of 2024

Hyundai Motor Europe experienced sales growth in the first half of 2024 compared to the same period last year, according to the latest data from the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA). The company reported a total of 281,518 units registered in the EU, EFTA, and the U.K., marking a 4.0 per cent increase from 2023. This rise in sales reflects Hyundai’s comprehensive growth strategy, focused on customer centricity and producing cars “made in Europe, for Europe”. The expansion of its mobility solutions line-up, and investments in future technologies also played crucial roles.

The company maintained a stable market share of 4.1 per cent across Europe, demonstrating its resilience and adaptability in the current challenging market conditions.

Steady market share across Europe

Hyundai experienced steady market shares in its key European markets, with notable sales results in Spain and Italy. Hyundai Motor Spain saw 32,613 units registered in the first half of 2024, a 6.1 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2023. In Italy, Hyundai achieved a market share of 3.1 per cent, with 27,675 newly registered vehicles that represent a 9.1 per cent increase from the first half of 2023.
