Laurent Vallée is appointed CEO Northern Europe. He keeps his responsibilities as Group General Secretary, member of the Group Executive Committee.
Geoffroy Gersdorff, currently Offer & Merchandise Group Director, is appointed Belgium Managing Director, reporting to the CEO Northern Europe.
These 2 appointments will take effect on July 4, 2022.

Laurent Vallée is graduated from ESSEC, Sciences-Po Paris and a former student of ENA. He started his career at the Conseil d’Etat. In 2008, he joined Clifford Chance before being appointed in 2010 Director of Civil Affairs and the Seal at the Ministry of Justice. General Secretary of the Canal + group between 2013 and 2015, then General Secretary of the Conseil Constitutionnel, he joined Carrefour in 2017 as General Secretary. He has also the responsibility of CPI ( Carrefour International Partnerships).
Geoffroy Gersdorff is graduated from the Catholic University of Louvain and from the Solvay Brussel School of Economics & Management. He joined Carrefour Belgium in 1997. After having held various positions within the Merchandise Department, he was appointed FMCG Commercial Director in 2008. In 2011, he joined the Group as the Director of International Private Label development. He returned to Belgium in 2013, first as Merchandise Director, then as Hypermarkets COO and finally as General Secretary from 2018. Since 2020, he was the Offer and Merchandise Group Director.
