Barclays today announces the appointment of Spyros Svoronos as Global Co-Head of Industrials within the Investment Banking business. In the role, he will co-lead the business with John Lange and report to Taylor Wright and Cathal Deasy, Co-Heads of Investment Banking. Mr. Svoronos will join the Investment Banking Management Team and be based in New York.

Prior to Credit Suisse, Mr. Svoronos worked in Industrials at Lazard Freres. He holds degrees from the London School of Economics and Columbia Business School.
“Spyros’ appointment is further evidence of our commitment to investing in industry-leading talent while bolstering the excellence of our IB leadership team,” says Taylor Wright, Co-Head of Investment Banking at Barclays. “The business has been strengthened under John Lange’s leadership and with hiring Spyros, we look forward to building on this success and continuing to deliver value-added, strategic advice to our clients across our Global Industrials franchise.”
